I thought this was a twill fabric when I first saw the photo -- how nice to have a jacket in a knit. Very cute. Sometimes you can cure the flipping facing problem by making them wider and often the back facing is more elongated and stitched down. That will definitely cure the flip!

Your cardigan looks nice. I made this last year and found the design to be too open at the neck/chest area.
