Wow, that wider waistband looks great! I think it's kind of slimming because the altered proportions of the belt with the added height make it look less wide AND it also would help hold in any tummy fluff if someone had it. You don't look like you need either measure, however. Thanks for the idea!

The wider waistband is an excellent idea - I will definitely do that on mine! I have denim and stretch cotton velveteen waiting patiently ;-). Thanks for the good tips - yours turned out really well!
