I think this is the same fabric I bought at JoAnn's, in 2 different colors! I was planning to use this same pattern for one of them! I love the feel of it, but now I don't know. I will have to wash it first, but this is very discouraging. What a disappointment!

This is why knits scare me. Sounds like you learned alot from your experience. In the photos it looks quite nice. I think it's funny that you call this outerwear. In our part of the country it would only be one of many layers.
