you'll like the freeform bowl, I think. If you can get hold of the "Fast, fun, and easy Fabric Bowls" at your library, you won't need a pattern.... Yours is beautiful!

Beautiful bowl. Inspired by your talking about making this, I got a book at the library that calls for an interliner of the material used for the bill of baseball caps. Is that what you used for stiffening.? I'm glad you said NOT to try freeform. Yes, that would be the first thing I'd be trying too. I love how your bowl looks with the fruit in it. I LOVE the idea. Gotta do this before Christmas.... but not sure about the stiffener to use????
