I made a buttercup bag and loved it. I gave it as a gift to a little girl and found out her mom loved it too :) This pattern is great, like you said, for a quick gift to make. I LOVE your minky version, that is such a neat idea for a little girl and the embroidery is such a nice touch.

What a cute little bag and a great way to use stash fabric. It might also be cute as a clutch without the strap.
