I agree, I love the femininity of the first version, no sleeves. Adding them is just that step too far, although I like sewing for fun's suggestion too (long sleeve with flounce at end).

This is so pretty. I was prepared to say keep it as is but the sleeves and ribbon belt take it over the top.

Very pretty and feminine. You asked for input - IMHO, I like it better without sleeves or very simple, plain sleeves... or perhaps long straight slim sleeves... perhaps with a bell-shape or flounce at the bottom. I think the neckline ruffles compliment the face better, and the fluffy sleeves - although very pretty - detract from the neckline design and would not show up the face as much. A little fluff at the end of a long sleeve would keep emphasis on the face and still add a little feminine touch to the sleeve.
