thanks so much for this review. i am looking for a modern cut pattern for pants for the winter and this caught my eye. after 9 yrs in Florida, the reference to Gardams made me smile... and their fabulous qaulity fabrics. Have you made any more given a year has passed... I am off to buy this courtesy of your review. Thanks so much

They both look very smart. Since you like the pattern, it would be worth making it again when you've found some more satisfactory fabric.

I like both pairs very much - the caramel do look great with the belt and lower rise, and the black look 'dressier' with the higher rise. It is a pity about the fabric - I love my Cue pants made of the same stuff.
