I made this pattern too -- not for riding, but as a fancy skirt as part of an evening ensemble -- and I absolutely love it. Great to see it "in action" though!

The old habits are lined with what is probably a cotton sateen lining which isn't slippery like satin. Looks good though and I am a side saddle judge in the UK.
