I'm petite, too, and have the same bust measurement but I always have to take the back and shoulders in if I use a 42-44. Did you have to do this? The top looks really cute and no one would guess you had any struggles with it.

@dbsewer - I didn't have to take it in, but I also played pretty fast & loose with the seam allowances. I was trying to preserve the pattern tracing so I probably had an extra 1/4" all the way around.
