Thanks for the comments-I do think this will go with everything, I have loads of cool jewel colours in my wardrobe and some red-so grey is a good neutral for me. I am going to look at organising the back of the neck band perhaps with some stitched pleats just to get the thing abit more organised with those folds as it can look abit uneven without arranging somehow some folds around the neck.

So I looked at adding pleats ot the back neck and of course they add bulk, so I think I'll just settle for arranging the folds each time I wear this cardi and let the fabric go the way it wants to!
