| alicia | 8/20/04 | Lou, your jacket looks wonderful!! I've relegated all the cheaper "fabric store" fleece to dog bedding and make annual trips to Malden Mills now - won't use anything else, it's the best. You mentioned lining the jacket to beef it up for winter... I would suggest either wearing the fleece under a water/windproof shell or making this coat in a WindPro/WindBloc or Power Shield instead; the 200 wt fleece is the insulating layer and is really enhanced when the wind can't get thru. I'm working on a bunch of WindBloc for my husband right now ... he's anxiously awaiting! You can order from Malden Mills at www.maldenmillsstore.com, but if you're anywhere in the Northeast, it's worth the road trip to hit up their remnant bins!! Nice coat! |

| Gigi Louis | 8/20/04 | I love it! The color is fab. I have soooo much fleece in my stash - I think I'll use your idea to make DH a zip jacket from his favorite pattern. |

| penelope | 8/25/04 | Beautiful jacket. Nice job combining the patterns. I've taken your advice about using better quality fleece and placed an order at MM. I'm also going to try binding fleece with swimsuit fabric (lycra) this winter, as the pattern suggests. |
