Could you redraft the armholes and add contrasting fabric to make it look layered? Such a shame to go to that work and not love it!

ConnieBJ-- Thanks, that's a good idea. I might give that a try, after a proper cooling off/mourning period, of course. LOL This thing *wants* to be a beautiful top, I can tell. ;)

Oh I am so sorry it has not worked out - the fabric is so pretty. Keep it and wear it under a jacket?

Oh such a shame:( beautiful fabric as well, maybe a nude or matching coloured 'boob tube' under it for the 'side boob' prob? Post an update of it on if u resolve it!

Perhaps small triangular gussets of the original fabric placed in at the bottom of the armhole (probably easy since the armhole already has visible stitching) Your fabric choice is so summery: it'd be a shame to lose a nice warm weather garment in this hot summer weather -- especially since you were so quick on getting to work on it!
