I love this dress, and you're right, it would be way too hot to have a lining (especially in SC summers!). Great fabric choice too. I hope you got a chance to make this for the 4th, I would love to see that version as well!

Thanks to you All! No, Newmama, I did not get around to making this fo rthe fourth but still have the fabric and all. I got caught up in other sewing projects which I will post after the 4th. ;)
