When my sons were babies it disappointed me to find that there were no "dressy" clothes available for baby boys. There were cute dresses for tiny girls but boys were supposed to wear sleepers, apparently, until they were 15 lb or so. Being able to sew was a blessing, as I was able to attire them for not only their christenings, but for my sister's wedding, too. I like the romper you made. Why shouldn't a little fellow look dashing on his christening day?! I hope you'll be able to pass it on to another lucky baby boy.

Wish we could see a close up. The romper and baby both look adorable.
