Thanks for an extremely helpful review -- that tip about the embroidery thread is fabulous. :) (P.S. Burda size 44 is actually equivalent to size 18, which might be why this fit bigger?)

This was cut in a 44 which is close to a 16. I am usually either a 14 or 16 but I have narrowish shoulders and am petite busted(although I still measure 38). I have to lengthen arms and torso because of my height. I think the sleeves being a tad long (my preference may make this appear oversized). As it is I have slight tautness when reaching and sewed the front dart short. I know you are experienced with this and your review is one reason I chose this one.

Very nice, but a much more generous fit than I would expect of this pattern, unless you went up a size or two. The colour is fabulous.

Very nice! Thanks for the info about embroidery thread for buttonholes--I'll give it a try.
