Your modifications have worked so well - proves the value of a muslin, because imagine the disappointment had you cut straight from that wonderful fabric. The sizing issue can be infuriating, in this case how can they imagine anyone wanting so much 'ease' on what should clearly be a close-fitting dress? It looks lovely.
