February 24, 2013 Update
Made another one. This is a teal rayon lycra. This is a great pattern. If you haven't made it yet, you should buy it just in case it goes out of print!! This fabric is a little stretchier than the other fabrics I've used. Instead of just taking it in a bit in the waist, I decided to take it in all the way to the hem to snug it up a little bit. That's the only change between this version and the others.
October 2, 2011 Update
All you bad enablers made me make another one with your sexy versions!! This one is black and with drapier fabric. It's much lower than the last one. Love it!

Pattern Description:
Vogue really outdid themselves with this pattern description: close-fitting dress. You guys have seen a ga-billion reviews of this dress so there's no need to even post this.
Pattern Sizing:
6-8-10-12-14. I made the size 8.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
My version looks a little more fitted in the stomach area (my alterations) but other than that, it's very similar.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were very clear. There are only two pieces so how hard can it be?
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Who would dislike this pattern?
Fabric Used:
I used an ITY jersey from Fabric.com. It's a fun print. I have a few more of these cuts of this fabric in different prints so I may need a few more versions of this dress.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I hemmed it about 4" shorter than the pattern and I took it in about an inch on each side from the armpit to the hip dart.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Will I ever. I plan to make a solid black version and maybe another one in a crazy print. And, um, yes, other people should make this. It seems like everyone already has!

No JenleeC, you aren't the only one. I also don't even own this pattern. I've never sewn a Vogue pattern before. This may have to be my first. Love this version, love the more fitted look you gave it as well!
