LouiseT, I'm admiring your many tank tops! Although I've sewn many much more complicated garments, I've always been a little bit afraid to try a tank top for fear of messing up the neckline and armholes. How do you use the Design Plus bias tape to create nice neat edges?

wonderful use of left-over fabric - great collection of tank tops - well done

Karen, I iron the Design Plus tape in the hem allowance of the neckline and armholes, then when I turn the hem (usually 5/8") I use a twin needle and the tape stays in the hem. It stops it from stretching out. The main thing is to be sure not to stretch it too much when applying it as you lose the stretchiness.

Thanks, Louise! I think I'll try it!
