Marilyn, this is my all time favorite pattern!!!! I've done it many times too! I'm still on love with the blue background with the flowers!!!! This one is equally nice!!

I wish I'd read your post BEFORE I made the top. You're right the cowl is very skimpy. I'm definitely making it again but adding a deeper cowl.
