I have cut down a king fitted to queen before when I found a killer deal on a set.. Lot of fabric to wrestle around. Feel your pain on the numbers flub.. Got to use thAt carpenters manta, measure twice cut once.... Love the bold plaid look. Sharp!

These look great! Sorry to hear about the fitted sheet mistake, but maybe you could make extra pillowcases out of it?

I like the buffalo blue plaid, so fresh. Maybe add a border to your fitted sheet to make up for cutting it too small or make bed skirt. I do like the contrast solid sheet.
