I'm really impressed with your blouse, I have done scallops on clothes and they are a lot of work, the original had perforated holes along the scallops, which can be done with a wing needle, matching thread and achieved on linen or cotton with a hemstitch that passes through a hole more than once to complete the stitch pattern. It perforates the fabric making a hole. Your results came out wonderful, you made yourself a beautiful blouse. I can really appreciate this style of sewing. Amazing what you did to a simple pattern. 1/27/12 9:53 PM
