I hope you do get a date-and-dancing night (husband, are you listening???), but I bet this skirt also looks great with tights and boots for daywear. The pattern looks interesting but it sounds like too much work for me at this point! I do like the idea of the exteriorized darts which are then topstitched and I like the idea of edgestitching and topstitching seams, especially on a skirt like this. Very nice review and skirt.
