Great costume dress! And the Baby Lamb is an adorable accessory!

What a great costume! You did a wonderful job. I especially like your 'little lost sheep'. What a cutie!

I am wearing a child's hoop skirt underneath (no petticoat). I used a child size because it was shorter and wouldn't show with the shorter skirt. If you like the shape, I highly recommend the hoop, it keeps the fabric off your legs on hot October days (if you even have that problem)! :) Oh, and I should also mention that the skirt I made is NOT from this pattern. It is a yardage of 45" cotton calico that I trimmed to about 35" and then gathered onto a waistband. I used LOTS of fabric (probably too much, to be honest) to give it fullness, but a nice full look can be achieved with a hoop, petticoats, panniers (padded or wired side bustles to widen the hips), or any combination of those items.

Very nice! I do have a question. Your skirt looks fuller (and nicer, IMO) than the pattern. Did you do anything special? Or is that just how it came out?
