Fun, eh? The thoughts of taking a zipper apart frighten me. Congrats on getting it back together and ending up with a lovely bag. I need a tiny bag to hold a hankie and a lipstick--you've inspired me to give this a try! Thanks!

Actually, the chance to attck a zipper with a pair of pliers is very therapeutic! And putting it back together was a breeze... once I ripped out the stitching that was so close to the zipper teeth that it was impossible to close the zipper without catching the lining.
