VERY CUTE!! I have this pattern as well, but after your description of the changes you had to make, I think I may skip it! I have another duffel pattern that I have made in the past and the lining goes into the bag fully without the seams you were mentioning and it also includes "normal" handles. Thanks for the informative review!

Been thinking about making this. Thanks for info about the straps -- Very Helpful! I also like the idea of putting pockets on the inside of the bag, so I may have to add those to mine ;) Thanks again! Beth
