I started making one of these and I like your suggestion of adding a magnetic closure. Better run to the store before I stitch the lining & body together.

Looks great. I made a bag that called for canvas as interfacing. It is not really an interfacing, just used that way. Good substitution because if you use canvas you can't really wash it, as canvas loses it's body.
