Thank you for the comments. Im not sure what other alterations to try. I think it needs to be narrower in the shoulders....

I think you have the solution when you talk about a drapier fabric and smaller size. It will be flattering if it fits more closely around the bust. Maybe you can still do some alterations on this top. The fabric is so nice.

I know what you mean. I tired that one a few years ago in it was fine but huge. I'd like to try it again down a few sizes but have yet to do so. I tried shirring mine and that didn't really help.
