Interesting idea! It took me a little while to figure it out but now I get it. I like that whole 80's short wide top thing coming back so this is right in step!

Oh just remembered reading this - Bamboo fabric has some degree of natural UV protection. So that would be a good choice of fabric for this purpose.

What a great tip. We're RVers and my husband likes the temperature much colder than I do, but putting a sweater on and taking it off 4 or 5 times a trip is a pain. With the back open like you made it, this would work great because I wouldn't have to struggle getting in and out of my sweater with the seatbelt on. Thanks!
