Wow! Gorgeous dress! I l wouldn't have thought to use French seams, but now it seems like the only way to go. Your version of this dress (and simstyle's) make the pattern look sooo much better than the envelope - I had all but given up on it. Not anymore! I have some really beautifully draping filmy black organza that is calling out to me . . . Thanks!
