Let me apologise in advance for english in not my first language...
Pattern Description:
Men's jacket and pants, loose fitting, below the hip, 3 inside pockets.
Pattern Sizing:
38
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Surprisingly yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
I tought they were a bit hard to follow since it was my first attempt at making a jacket but I managed to get through it with a little help from my mom! They would probably be easier for someone who has a little experience in sewing jackets. The pattern diagrams were not always clear in my opinion especially the collar part...
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I have only been able to find a few patterns for men's jacket. This one seemed to be more adjusted, more classical looking and more detailed than the others. Plus, it was only 5$ on sale.
It was a pretty long project but it was worth it since it ended up looking not too far from a jacket we would have bought (at least I think it wasn't too far from that...)
In my opinion the instructions weren't detailed enough. I had to go through tailoring books to add a couple of steps in the process, especially in the collar, the pockets and the bottonholes parts.
Fabric Used:
Cotton
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't sew a buttonhole on the collar but that's about it!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Of course! I would probably make some alterations in the lenghts and stuff like that but I think the pattern was good and since there aren't much choices when it comes to finding a men's vest pattern...

Wow. Great job! I haven't yet tackled making menswear. You were brave -- but certainly up to the challenge.
