Dress looks very pretty - love the fabric. Would loved to have seen this on a person though. I have been looking at this pattern for years.

Like you I've had this pattern forever. I love Loes' designs and have several of her patterns (having visited her shop in Carmel a couple of times, she'd pull them out from under her cash desk!). I've never made one up! But I am tall and do appreciate your references so I'll pull this pattern out and check out my rayon stash. Thanks for your thorough review.

Definitely check your back waist length for this dress pattern. I would think that most people need to lengthen the bodice to put the waist at the waist, since the side waist of the bodice seam is at mine, and I'm about 2" shorter than most standard bodice blocks.
