Patterns with modest breastfeeding openings. I made several when I was having children, those patterns are terrific and easy to sew. 8/19/12 10:58 AM

Definately alter the skirt portion in the back and the front too if you think it is too much for you by simply folding out some width (lengthwise) in the pattern pieces before cutting. Remember to redo any markings. Use a drapier fabric....maybe rayon?? And you CAN make this in a knit if you want....just make it a size smaller (or more) and if it is a stretchy knit (25% or more) you probably will not need a zipper! And if you do a knit you may want to eliminate the facings and do bias bindings on neck and armholes. Wow, sorry if this sounds preachy...I am just trying to encourage you to try again since you are so close to a nice comfortable maternity dress. 8/19/12 12:49 PM
