A cotton-silk from Walmart? An old kimono you've saved? Love it! Your dress is beautiful and distinctive and showcases the pattern to its best advantage. (I wouldn't buy this pattern as displayed at the link but I would buy it based on your creativity and results, so that's a big compliment to you!)

Just beautiful! What a great fabric ; cotton silk is so wonderful, and this is a gorgeous print. Love your use of the bands from an old kimono too; I just love that sort of creative sewing.
