Lovely jacket! Thanks for the reminder about this pattern as I put it on my 'To Do' list when the magazine came out but never got to it.

To answer peaudane's question about corners. First I serged the edge in one direction and left the threads hanging off the end. Then I did the edge that crossed with that. The loose edges from the first stitching get sliced off and I don't seem to have to do anything more there. This time I gently disentangled the chain from the end of the new stitching and just tied it in a knot, and obviously snipped all the threads off. I think this has worked well. It does look neat even close up. Last time I put fray stopper also on the ends, and will do that again if I see signs of unravelling.
