It still has the 60s look except for the fabric. Back then we used very boring fabric, like the pattern cover shows. But you look so nice in your version. I hope you start to like it more.

your dress is beautiful. i think this is the pattern i used when i learned how to sew in the late sixties-early seventies. my fabric was orange polyester cotton knit on the outside and mystery melting fabric on the inside. that sucker took me the whole first semester to make.
