I tried it today, my first attempt at a knit. I agree the neck cowl thing was confusing because the raw edges would be on the outside so I wanted to attach it to the wrong side and flip it over. I finally just pinned it the way they wanted and then tried it on. Somehow it works, with the folds hiding any of the edges.

Hi rainessa, yes, you had the same reaction I did, though I was even confused at the layout at first too and sewed the tube wrong at first. I was still convinced the raw edges would show, but they don't.
