Pattern Description: Fitted jersey pullover with side ruching.
Pattern Sizing: Taking the recommendation of other reviews, I sized down. My measurements make me a 16 for Vogue patterns, and for this, I cut a 14. Fits great. For reference, I am a street size "10" with 36-37" bust.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Like that it is simple with no closures. It's also a very sleek, classic silhouette. I wish it came with some sleeves variations.
Fabric Used: Pontederoma Jersey with 2 way stretch (approx 20% stretch), med-heavy weight.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Legthened - I am 5'8" with long torso, so I did my standard lengthening - 1 inch at waist "lenthen here" mark and 3 1/2 inches at the hemline.
Sleeves - left them off. I finished the arm holes with a simple 1-in rolled hem at sleeves.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, already have. Made myself a longsleeve version in red and a brown one for my mom for Christmas. I definitely recommend this pattern.
