Just catching your review. Wow, 12 oz denim! The heaviest I could find about a year ago was 10 oz, as I recall. Isn't it great to have a Tnt jeans pattern? Your alterations got you a great fit and solved the problems you'd had before. A coin pocket is never used but makes the jeans look authentic. I think jeans need that. When I sewed certain parts of my Jalie 2908 jeans, I actually used my industrial walking foot machine, so I don't blame you for leaving off the belt loops with your heavy weight denim. Great job.

I think your jeans are fantastic, here is a source for rivets in NJ (I have no affiliation just found it one day) http://www.grommetmart.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=67 Here is a blog I follow with instructions for attaching rivets: http://www.briansews.com/2010/02/how-to-attach-rivets-and-tack-buttons.html
