I seem to be the only with a problem with this pattern so perhaps it's only me. However, I measured my daughter and matched her with size medium for pirate adult girl. Skirt came out fine, however, shirt was huge ...just swimmingly large and it was all down hill from there. Belt was simple to sew, but was also waaaay too big. After I sewed adjustments (reduced size of belt and of pirate shirt sleeves) my daughter went off to her Halloween party. No one guessed she was a pirate! They thought she was a 'Swiss Girl!'
Disappointed in the sizing of this pattern. Huge size distorted this cute idea into a different costume. |
