LOL I made this skirt as well and I also think the construction is off. I changed mine but it is also big and I'm about to take a bunch off. Also, I think you should sew down the tops of the pockets about 2 inches - mine keep gapping. I used this pocket design to add pockets to a pocketless skirt with a yoke and took off 2 inches off the top - and they are the best pockets ever. So...

Fabulous review, and I do have to say, fabulous skirt as well! You not only rescued it, it's pretty darn wonderful.

Oh that is sad! I don't usually get bad Ottobre patterns either. I will skip that one. It did turn out pretty cute, for all that is worth.
