I have had this pattern in my stash for quite a while but recently brought it out because it had the perfect neckline for a "layered look" of three different tops that I wanted to wear together. To see them all together and the other things I made to go with it you can visit my BLOG

I made a few changes when I cut out the pattern, making it a little wider at the bottom and also a little longer. I knew I wanted it to "peek out" under the sweater I planned to wear on top of it but thought it would be easier to wait to later to decide on the exact length.

The collar was the only half-way difficult part of the sewing, but once you figure out how it goes together it is quite easy. I used a self-fabric band all the way around around the neckline for a more finished look and loosely secured it inside. As you can see from the pictures on my blog, it turned out to be the perfect top for what I wanted!
