Pattern Sizing:
It comes in a 10-12-14-16-18
I made a 10. It fits typical of Butterick
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes. I changed up the bottom of the sleeve finish like another reviewer here did to avoid the handstitching.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Love the shape of the yoke/sleeves. I think I would rather have view B with the contrast fabric to accentuate the lines of this because I think that is what makes it so cute.
The worst part of this pattern is also the yoke lines because sewing all those corners is kindof a pain in the rear. Personally, I think it is worth the work.
Fabric Used:
Stretch cotton purchased at a local store Yellow Bird Fabrics
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes! Its darling and will be a great summer piece. I will be wearing in through the winter with layers as well. I want to make view B with the contrast and also try view D.
Conclusion:
Eventually I'll update this to include the modeled pictures at my blog. Nightsew

I am ready to give up and try View C but maybe I will give it one more shot with the muslin. I seriously don't get how to sew these. Nice job! 1/5/13 2:43 PM
