Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Mostly

Were the instructions easy to follow?
I lined it and put a grosgrain facing in, so the construction was slightly changed.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I think my fabric choice with the pattern choice made it come out rather conservative. Also I think the way the skirt is an overlay in the front makes it hang/pull kindof bleh. Also don't love the hemming down a bias cut on the front overlay. I obviously didn't do my best work on this.

Fabric Used:
Stashed wool remnant.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
As I said, I put in a lining and a grosgrain ribbon facing. It lays beautifully in the waist and the lining and skirt part really look good on (minus the overlay).

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Nope. I wouldn't really recommend it either. I think there are more stylish patterns out there. I feel like view C and B is kindof hokey how it only has the contrast on the front and the back is plain. It hink that will make it look bad from the side. I haven't tried D/E. I think the lines of these are the most promising. All in all, just a sortof bleh pattern.

Conclusion: I love sewwil's finished garment using this same pattern. SO, I'll admit I probably don't love mine because of the fabric choice combined with the pattern. Just not a win. If you think you love the look of this line drawing, just be careful with your fabric selection.

Wow I wish I could sew a skirt as nice as this. Maybe its my age but I think it is very stylish.

Be careful with D and E! I tried to make D and it ended up lookng like a cheerleader's skirt. Maybe i chose the wrong colors. :-O

I think I'm just grumpy because it didn't turn out as I had envisioned it. It's not bad seperate from my expectations. I love the vibrant pink of SewWil's skirt. I think the material makes an otherwise conservative skirt pop. Vicsguy. With that I think I'm done with this pattern altogether. There are lots more to move onto.

I think your skirt is pretty. You may want to "hide" it for a while. Maybe when you pull it out you will feel better about it. Don't give up on it yet.
