| Pattern Description: Cowl front knit tops with sleeve variations.
Pattern Sizing: Y (XS,S,M)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Sort of, it didn't drape as well. I made view A.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, the instructions were clear.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? After reading other reviews about this top, I decided to make a size smaller than I normally would, so I cut the size Small. The shoulders of this top would not stay on my shoulders without sewing in bra keepers. This fixed the problem, but it was unwearable without this modification. The fit was a little firm around the waistline which spoilt the drape. In hindsight, I wish I had cut the medium.
Fabric Used: I used a panne velvet (stretch velvet). This was awful to sew. After marking all the tucks and pinning them so carefully, they still moved when I sewed them. Luckily the fabric hides this well.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I cut a straight size small. The only modification was to add the bra keepers.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? If I sewed it again I would make the Medium and I would choose a better fabric.
Conclusion: This is a classy looking top with a glamourous back neckline which works OK with a bra. Back Click here (In fact, you need the bra to hold the top on your shoulders). I would like to try this one again in a better fabric.

I am glad you added the back view because it makes it look very classy from both perspectives.
