Pattern Sizing:I made the XS. It fits true to size, slightly oversized like the envelope.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Pretty much, although I changed the front/back panels to the bias in order to make a chevron pattern.
Were the instructions easy to follow?Didn't use them, so I couldn't say. This was super easy to make!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I don't think this is for me. I never like weird hemlines, and to be honest, I kind of feel like there's a giant arrow pointing at my lady parts! The hemline wants to curl (probably due to cutting on the bias.) The sleeves are a little wide, but they're comfortable, so that's not a problem.
Fabric Used:wool jersey
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I cut the bodice on the bias and took in under the arms slightly.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Nope, but I think this would be cute on the right person. It was easy and went together well. The raglan depth for this view wasn't nearly as deep as the modeled view, which was a concern!
Conclusion: Blog entry here.

You know it wouldn't be a big deal to redo the hem on the straight line if it bothers you because seriously this is a very cute top.

Ok, so the hem may not work with the chevron pattern but the rest of this top is really great! Well worth straightening the hem and having a top you will enjoy, because it is cute on you!

Sorry to read (blog) and can see you are in a funk. However, I only see SUCCESS, your top is stunning, in my opinion, the colors too really suit you too.

Your top looks great on you...love your inventive use of chevrons (perfect, by the way). But I agree about the weird raglan seam placement (so weird on me that I actually pitched both the top AND the pattern!)

The chevron (bias) placement is perfect and actually makes this top look a lot better than a solid fabric, in my opinion :) Just straighten out that hem (the point would bother me too) and you have a great top. Also, you mentioned a year end wrap up and wearability blog........such a great idea!

Great job on the stripes, it does look nice on you, hopefully you'll feel comfortable wearing it. The fabric is really nice!
