Hi Velosewer, Thank you for answering my questions so well, in addition to the information & pictures in your reviews and your blog - all very helpful and greatly appreciated!

hi Persevering. I've used a polyester knit with some spandex. The tie front wasn't needed because of the fabric print. My SIL didn't like the tie front so I wasn't going to sway her opinion but when she wore these dresses, there was no need for additional fabric where it made no difference. I used the short sleeve on the pattern. I suggest 1.5m in length for 145cm wide fabric. Thank you for asking. V

Love your versions of this pattern! I bet your SIL is absolutely delighted with them. I have this pattern and loved different things on both styles. Time to pull it out. Thanks for a great review.

How splendid and satisfying to make these attractive well-fitted dresses for someone for your SIL who may actually make good use of them. As it appears you are not using the tie-belt the pattern shows with the dress and a short sleeve not the longer (did you use the sleeve of the other view), can you please let us know what length of fabric you recommend for the view you stitched/created? Thanking you for sharing your experiences/skills/knowledge :)
