EDIT: I sewed this up four times now, and it is fun! The first version went to SiL No.2 for christmas and I made an orange/white polka dot version for my SiL No.3. with green waistband/ties, no photos unfortunately. And the last two aprons (red with white hippos and a cupcake version) I kept for myself! I really like using an apron now, that I have such beautiful ones. Do yourselves and your clothes a favour, sew beautiful/fun aprons!

Beautiful apronpattern with flounce (View D/E), makes for a nice apron.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I was looking for a cute apron with waistband. As I had this pattern in stash, I decided to use the apron part (View E) and draft a neckholder bib part for it. This worked very nicely. I used the apron size L because I wanted the apron to be a large as possible and really the sizes don't matter much.
To sew the flounce onto the apron part, do yourself a favour and cut down the seam allowance to 1cm (3/8 inch) at that seam - to connect an inward and an outward curve with 5/8 (1.5cm) seamallowance is virtually impossible or will take looots of time. No problem with reduced seamallowance.
I doublefolded the hem of the flounce - this way the hem is quite stiff and falls nice.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes, the flounce at the bottom of the apron is sooo cute! I think this is what makes the look, and it pairs nicely with the halterneck. I have several friends/familymember whom I would love to sew one for.
Conclusion:
Very cute apron pattern. If you find a good bib part in another pattern, do frankenpattern it!
