Pattern Description:
A variety of lined and unlined shrugs, capelets & tops. I made version D, which is a lined shrug with 3/4 length sleeves.
Pattern Sizing:
Sizes 12-18 - I made a size 14.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, except I didn't add a button.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Very easy, it was a breeze to make.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
I like the different variations available in the one pattern. It's a simple yet classy looking little jacket.
Fabric Used:
Lemon yellow linen, lined with a simple cotton.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
Only leaving off the button.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I have already sewn it again! This time with short sleeves... Highly recommend to others - it's probably the most professional looking garment that I've made so far
Conclusion:
I wanted to make something bright, to wear to work in summer and this certainly fits the bill - I've dubbed it my little ray of sunshine jacket. It stands out when matched with black or white and always gets lots of compliments!
It's a lovely style and colour. It looks professional to me.
