|Pattern Description: A simple wrap skirt. It closes with snaps at the waistband and clip-like closures down the front. I made two, using remnants of stretch denim for each. These are Christmas gifts for my daughters, ages 20 and almost 18.|
Pattern Sizing: 36-44. I made a size 38. (Both girls wear the same size.)
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Somewhat. I omitted the patch pocket. It also calls for contrast top-stitching. I didn't bother on the fabric with the black flocking. On the plain black denim, I did use gold top-stitching, but I didn't like the effect, so I ripped it out.

Closeup of snap and hooks - these were purchased for another project some time ago, from Britex.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Sure. It's a simple skirt.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I wanted a simple short skirt I could make for my daughters that would use up some nice remnants of stretch denim. I liked this skirt because the wrap makes it easy to fit. I put the snaps and closures on one side of the skirt only. After they unwrap their gifts on Christmas Eve, I will have them try them on and I can position the other half of the snaps/closures and quickly sew/hammer them on.
Fabric Used: Stretch denim, left over from my Marcy and Katherine Tilton skinny pants.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I shortened the hems a tad. I did this because I didn't have enough fabric to make them as long as designed. I also had to piece the waistband on the blue flocked version.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Definitely. This is a great basic.
Conclusion: I hope they like these and that they fit! More on the blog.
