I made view B in xxl and view D in Xl
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it looked a lot like the envelope.
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions were very easy. for View B On the sleeve one can easily put the sleeve in wrong. Take your time and examine if what is in your hand matches the photo for View D a expert sewist can finish this in no time.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
With the right fabric you can make really night easy flow pieces. For view B i just might make a Emerald Green Ponte Knit version.
Fabric Used:
I used two different sweater knits i picked up a joann fabrics. The black & White i have had for several years and just did not know what to do with it. The Gray i picked up from the Joann Red Tag table and had planned on making a dress but i am glad i did not. This fabric is really thin.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I made one alteration on the Gray Version ( View B) i used knit interfacing in the collar. This worked great expect the collar was WAY to large so i folded it in half and put button holes in the super thick collar. I like it with this change.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will sew this again, i can see some great fabrics. I have a faux fur that View C or E would be great for.
Conclusion:
This is a great pattern for quick sewing i highly recommend it. |
